• What is death? And who die?

According to the Bible 'all die'.

1 Corinthians 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Hebrews 9:27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

All die! But what did JESUS say death was?

Matthew 9:24  He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

The people knew that the girl was dead. So they laughed at JESUS. Let us see if JESUS mentioned that the dead sleep in another verse.

John 11:11-14  These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

JESUS had to explain to the disciples that Lazarus was dead, when He said that he was sleeping. When we sleep we don't know anything. We don't go anywhere, as we wake up in the same place we went to sleep.

The Christian world says that when you die you go to Heaven or hell. You have an immortal soul. How can this be? The Bible does not teach this. It is only pagan religions that teach this!

Psalm 115:17  The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

If one goes to Heaven when they die, then how come the Psalmist says that 'the dead praise not the LORD'? If the dead praise not the LORD, they have gone nowhere. They are still in their graves.

Psalm 6:5  For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

Isaiah 38:18  For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

Even Isaiah says that death cannot praise GOD. It is only the living that can praise GOD.

Isaiah 38:19  The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

Solomon, one of the wisest men that lived says:

Ecclesiastes 9:5  For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

'The dead know not any thing'. So how did the Christian world come up with this false doctrine that comes from paganism? And yet the Christians mock those that believe in the Word of GOD. Just as the Jews 'laughed JESUS to scorn'. JESUS never mentioned that the dead are in Heaven or some other place. He said to the Sadducees:

Mark 12:25  For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

When do the dead rise? It is at the first and second resurrection. There would be no need for these resurrections if the dead are already in Heaven or a place called 'hell'.

John 5:25  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

If as the Christian world says that you go to Heaven (or 'hell') when you die, then why will the dead hear the voice of the Son of GOD? Would they not be in Heaven hearing JESUS speaking to them? This doctrine of the dead from the majority of the Christian world does not line up with what JESUS is saying. Yet at the same time they teach that you must do as JESUS did. Must you not also believe in the Words of JESUS? Of course!

    Who has immortality?

So why do you believe that the dead have an immortal soul when there is not one Scripture to prove this?

1 Timothy 1:17  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

This is the only verse that comes up in a search for the word 'immortal'. No mention of man been immortal. We are made from dust and we go back to dust when we die.

Genesis 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 3:19  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Here are GOD's Words about what we are, DUST! No mention of some immortal spirit that is taught today in the Christian world. The only One with immortality is GOD!

    Where are the dead then?

Where did JESUS say the dead are?

John 6:49  Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

JESUS never said that their fathers where in Heaven or 'hell'.

John 6:58  This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

So how too we live forever? Strange question that JESUS asked considering that this is not what is taught in the majority of Christian denominations. The belief is that the soul lives forever. Yet JESUS says that to live forever is to eat the bread, His Words. How so we get eternal life?

John 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

JESUS never taught that the dead are anywhere, except in the grave. If JESUS taught that death is sleep, than why is there a teaching contrary to His teaching today?

Study the Word of GOD so that you can have eternal life as well. Check to see if what you have been taught is according to the Word of GOD!

  • Elohim, the Mighty Covenant Maker

The first verse in the Bible starts with the first name of GOD, Elohim. In the Strong's concordance it means:

"plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:—angels, × exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), × (very) great, judges, × mighty."

    H433 means:

a deity or the Deity:—God, GOD.

  • Eye be single

The parable of the eye be single that JESUS is teaching us is in Matthew 6:22-23. We will have a look at what JESUS was saying in this parable. Using the Bible to decipher the meaning. We can then have a better understanding of the teachings of JESUS. Instead of thinking what JESUS was saying by using our own interpretation. We will use the Bible alone.

Matthew 6:22-23  The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

  • These Bible studies are on different topics in the Bibile.

The studies use the KJV Bible and use the study method mentioned in Isaiah 28:10.

Isaiah 28:10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

For a more in depth look at how to study the Bible go to "How to study the Bible".

These studies are from the Bible alone. We are not going to use any quotes from man, theologians, scholars or pastors. The Bible is the only book we need! JESUS used a "It is written" against Satan in the temptations that He went through. He is our Example, so we should do as our LORD and Saviour did.

Matthew 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Satan then proceeded to use Scripture to counteract JESUS. This is what is happening today with Christians. The Bible is used to prove their own ideas, theories and sayings. Satan only quotes part of a verse, and unfortunately this is happening today as well.

Matthew 4:6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Here is the verse that Satan was quoting.

Psalms 91:11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psalms 91:12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

What did Satan leave out? "To keep thee in all thy ways".

    Paul warned us against this.

Acts 20:29  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

2 Timothy 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears

Has what Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:3 come true? Are Christians not listening to smooth things because it is easier than the truth and obeying GOD and His Word? What I have noticed is that as Christians we would rather have the world like us than be faithful and obey GOD. The Bible warns us about this as well.

James 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Have we as Christians become the enemy of GOD, because we want the world to love us?

As you can see, we need the Bible and the Bible alone! So is the trinity a man made doctrine? or is it from the Word of GOD? As Christians we must prove all things from the Word of GOD. Don't just listen to your pastor, theologian, scholar or what your denomination says, prove it from the Word of GOD. We need to get back to the Bible and the Bible alone. Have a look at "How to study the Bible"

1 Thessalonians 5:21  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

    JESUS warned us.

Matthew 7:15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Of course they don't come to you like a wolf. They speak smooth sayings, sound intelligent, have a nice way about them, but they lead you astray from the truth! JESUS also warned us about the false doctrines out there from the church leaders.

Matthew 16:6  Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Matthew 16:12  Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

There is a cry in the Bible at the end of time for God's people to come out.

Revelation 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Let us study the Bible and the Bible alone!

  • Seek first the KINGDOM of GOD

We need to seek first the Kingdom of GOD. Our worldly business is not supposed to be first in a Christians life. We will take a closer look at the parable in Matthew 6:24-34.

Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

  • The Bridegroom

What was JESUS teaching in the parable of the Bridegroom? Let us use the Bible to interpret this parable.

Matthew 9:14  Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

Matthew 9:15  And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

JESUS implies that the disciples are the 'children of the bridechamber'  and that He is the 'bridegroom'.

  • The names of God

The names of GOD are numerous in the Bible. They come to us from the Old Testament. They also explain the character of GOD to us. In the New Testament JESUS tells us that His mission was to reveal the Father to us.

John 17:6  I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

John 17:26  And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

When the Greeks came to see JESUS, He said something very interesting!

  • The Sanctuary

These are pdf studies on the Sanctuary or the Tabernacle in the wilderness that GOD got Moses to have the people build. Studies on the courtyard, curtains, gate into the courtyard. What the different colours mean. The different offerings that were required. The tent and the furniture inside - the table of showbread, the altar of incense, the golden candlestick and the ark of the covenant. The coverings over the Tabernacle. What they were made of, the colours. Also there are studies of the feast days and what they represent. This study will explain what it all represents, including the colours of the curtains and what they represent and symbolise.

Here is a diagram of the Tabernacle.

  • This is a Bible study on using the Bible to interpret the parable of the treasure hid in the field.

Matthew 13:44  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Let us find the Bible meaning of certain words in the parable.

    Field = world.

    Matthew 13:38  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

    Treasure = The Bible
